Happy Mother's Day!

I love, love, love being a mom. I know that God chose our kiddos just for us and I can't imagine raising any greater kids. They have showered me with love today and I am so thankful for them. I love when they make me things and I got my fill today. I couldn't begin to completely list the random gifts I was given from these three but they included toy necklaces (see picture), $1 and some change, pencils that I used last week for testing, a Webkinz (that needed to be returned as I was "just getting to borrow it"), precious notes and pictures from all three and a battery...because every child gift comes with batteries taped to it, I guess. Captain C had the great idea to dip things in chocolate for me and Big T helped him cover strawberries (fresh from our garden), Oreos, and Ritz/peanut butter sandwiches with melted chocolate because, and I quote from his card, "Nothing says I love you like chocolate". Princess P helped Big T pick out some new clothes for me too. She has quite the opinion on fashion and did a great job (aka. no returns!). A yummy lunch of steak, twice baked potatoes and corn on the cob, followed by a huge (like, bigger than the pan, huge...thankfully it is Mother's Day so Big T cleaned the oven after - haha) cookie cake and it has been a perfect day.

And, in case you can't read the boys shirt...here is another ;) We got these for less than a buck at Old Navy this winter and C crossed out the 2009 and put 2010 and wore it to church today. Now THAT is love ;)

They love their mom, and rightfully so. You are the best.

So sweet. I can tell how much you love being a mom by what you write and by your actions. The world needs more moms like you. Your kids are lucky! :))
