FOh, how I hate pictures of myself. This blog has truly stretched me and I have gotten more comfortable with pictures of me and the kids...but this JUST me thing is hard! I tired several different things and ended up with the classic picture of myself in the mirror for my self portrait. Boring, I know.

Out our window
It is finally snowing here and Big T noticed the cardinals out back and had me take a picture. I was pleasantly surprised when 4 came together for a shot. Gorgeous!

Oh to be young...
Apparently my kids feel differently about the storm that's coming today. I am not good about helping the kids with crafts...so they just make up their own sometimes.

Do Not Disturb!
Big T and I rarely watch the news or weather. Thanks to facebook though, we are kept up to date on anything important. And everyone is talking about the "big storm" headed our way tomorrow. We had 3 weeks of snow or ice on the ground already this year and have more coming in tomorrow. This is very odd for OK and I, for one, am tired of it. So, in case you need to reach me, I am:

When I grow up....("C" Style)
We have had my parents visiting this week so I haven't been good about getting my blog updated. I am not going to have time to do my Fun Friday Foto this week either :( But I couldn't go an entire week without blogging so I made Captain C tell me what he wants to be when he grows up. He said he has a list but this one is his favorite. His Daddy is so proud ;)

Fun Friday Foto: Childhood Toys
There are a group of people on facebook that are doing photo blogs also. Some are posting everyday and some are only doing weekly, like me. They wanted to do something fun together so started Fun Foto Fridays. Basically, we will all take a picture of the same theme and link them up together. This week's theme is: Favorite Childhood Character or Toy.
This theme brought me to my forgotten box of memories in the attic. My mom made a Raggedy Ann doll for me when I was little. She made a new one for Princess P last year too. Mine is all old and stained from the years of love and, more recently, neglect, while P's is bright and new and full of possibilities. I found this quote online that I thought was fitting:
A daughter is the happy memories of the past, the joyful moments of the present, and the hope and promise of the future. ~Author Unknown

When I grow up....("T" style)
Tricky T dressed himself in a shirt and tie for the picture. He takes his job as "future Lego Designer" very seriously! And speaking of seriously, SERIOUSLY y'all, how cute are the new Toy Story Legos?!? Love them. He has some Christmas money that he keeps spending on new Lego sets.

Consider yourself warned...
There is a new rule at the E house...and guests might want to know. I am tired of the laundry and desperate times call for desperate measures ;)
PS...My sister (who if she would hurry up and make her blog would have a link right here!) and I ordered these COMFY jammies from Children's Place. Laundry issue or not, I might never change out of these again. I am in love!

Baby, It's Cold Outside!
I think this has to be a record for Oklahoma. We have had snow on the ground for 2 weeks...and are expecting more tonight. We aren't used to this around here. We usually bundle the kids up while it is still snowing so they are ready to run out there and enjoy the few hours of snow before it is all melted. But this year is nuts - they even canceled school in town for the next two days because, get this, it is too cold (you northerners can feel free to laugh now). My poor homeschooled kiddos are going to have to suck it up and put their footed jammies on and get their cold selves to the kitchen table for some learnin'. We would rather do school when it is "too cold" than when it is beautiful spring weather so are going to knock a few more days off our calendar this week instead of taking off.
Bottom line:
