I think this has to be a record for Oklahoma. We have had snow on the ground for 2 weeks...and are expecting more tonight. We aren't used to this around here. We usually bundle the kids up while it is still snowing so they are ready to run out there and enjoy the few hours of snow before it is all melted. But this year is nuts - they even canceled school in town for the next two days because, get this, it is too cold (you northerners can feel free to laugh now). My poor homeschooled kiddos are going to have to suck it up and put their footed jammies on and get their cold selves to the kitchen table for some learnin'. We would rather do school when it is "too cold" than when it is beautiful spring weather so are going to knock a few more days off our calendar this week instead of taking off.

When we homeschooled up north we did the same think, Leslie! My kids never experienced "Snow days: School is canceled" until we moved to Oklahoma!! Go figure! Bonnie P.

Haha love it! I've heard they've now changed the term to "climate change" because the term "global warming" wasn't helping their argument. LOL
Aren't you glad you have a nice toasty fireplace right about now?? We almost invited ourselves over on Friday. I resorted to turning on the oven and opening the door! :-) No snowdays for us either.
