*sniff, sniff* - Pass the Kleenex, please.

Today was a huge milestone and I am very proud of myself for not bawling at church. Today was our baby's last day in the nursery. Starting next Sunday, ALL THREE of our kids will be in the children's department (for one year, then C will start youth but I am not even going to let myself go there yet - oh my). I know I say it all the time but really, people, where has the time gone? I am surely not old enough to have kids in Kindy, 2nd, and 5th grade. I still remember being in the youth department and looking up to college kids, thinking they were SO old. Or babysitting and calling the mom Mrs. XYZ and having her asking me to call her by her first name but I could never bring myself to it because she was so much older than me and that would be rude. Now, I am that mom cringing when people call me Mrs. XYZ. I would like to publicly apologize to that mom for never using her first name!

Today, it's Kindergarten:

Tomorrow, she'll be wanting the keys to the car:

Off to work on my slow-down-the-time machine!

I agree about how quickly the time goes - my baby starts Kindergarten this year too. When you get that slow-down-the-time machine ready I'll be your first customer!
