Today, I am thankful for democracy. I am thankful that we, the people, have a say in how our great country is run. I am also thankful that when things don't go our way in a vote, there is always the next vote to try to make things right (2012, anyone?). If you haven't made it out yet, there's still a few more hours. Remember, if you don't vote, you forfeit the right to complain about how it turns out.

We voted this morning. I always feel really patriotic and almost emotional when I vote. I was sad that our voting place was EMPTY!
